Guaraná

Guaraná is a fruiting plant native to the Amazon Basin. Guaraná contains a variety of active components such as xanthines (a class of compounds related to caffeine) and antioxidants like catechin and epicatechin.


Effect On Bad Cholesterol Markers

Guaraná consumption has been shown to improve metabolic markers relating to LDL-cholesterol (bad cholesterol) oxidation and is inversely associated with type II diabetes. [1]

Effect On Strength

Epicatechin, an active component of Guaraná, has been shown to improve grip strength.
