Ginseng

Panax Ginseng is a medicinal herb whose therapeutic use dates back millennia. Panax Ginseng contains a unique set of compounds aptly known as “ginsenosides” which provide anti-inflammatory, neurorestorative, and anti-depressive effects. Ginseng’s active components also increase BDNF - dubbed “miracle grow” for neurons - in areas of the brain such as the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex. [1]

Fatigue

A review of 10 studies found Panax Ginseng to be an effective tonic for individuals suffering from chronic fatigue. [2]

Immune Function

Panax Ginseng may help regulate immune function by priming the first responders of the immune system to deal with infection. Fascinatingly, Panax Ginseng achieves this effect while simultaneously reducing the intensity of auto-immune response in animal models. [3]
